Grupo Bimbo Acquires Popcornopolis
Grupo Bimbo USA Snack Division announced Tuesday it has acquired Popcornopolis gourmet popcorn brand from private equity firm NexPhase Capital at no cost and without disclosing financial details of the deal.
Barcel USA leverages Salsify to manage their Global Data Services Network data pool and product content. By using Salsify they have launched new products up to 30 days faster and identified data errors proactively; dramatically increasing searchability.
Takis
Takis are corn tortilla chips produced by Barcel, an international snack company. Takis have become immensely popular among teenagers due to their intense flavors and spice levels; some varieties can even cause stomach discomfort when consumed in full quantities! Others may experience symptoms associated with GERD or IBS when they consume too many Takis simultaneously; popular flavors of Takis include Nitro, Xplosion and Fuego varieties.
Xplosion Takis are among the spiciest in their lineup and feature a bright orange hue, while Nitro Takis are milder with yellowish hues and contain less spicy spices than their counterpart. Both varieties contain red or orange dye, which could stain stool red or orange depending on which variety you choose to consume – these cautionary tales should also be applied when giving children any variety of Xplosion or Nitro Takis; giving these snacks can lead to upset stomach.
Takis contains ingredients such as corn masa flour (processed with lime), vegetable oil, salt and maltodextrin. Also included is Abe’s Habanero Seasoning (diced tomatoes with water, distilled vinegar, green chili peppers sugar dehydrated onion salt modified food starch modified food starch garlic powder citric acid), soybean/palm/canola oil red chili powder yeast extract monosodium glutamate. As Takis seasoning may contain milk wheat or egg proteins; those who may be sensitive should avoid eating it.
Takis are loaded with calories, fat, and sodium but lacking important vitamins and minerals that could lead to weight gain and health issues if eaten too frequently. Luckily there are healthy alternatives that you can enjoy as snacks in moderation; The Noom diet can help you adopt healthy habits to drop those extra pounds while still enjoying snacks like Takis!
Vero
Vero has quickly become one of the most-popular social media apps in recent memory, yet not without controversy. While its growth has been meteoric, some questions still exist around its founding team and funding, not to mention draconian terms of service provisions. But these concerns aside, Vero remains an excellent platform for photographers looking to showcase their work to a wide audience.
First step to creating a Vero account is downloading its app. After entering your name and email address, Vero will send a four-digit code that must be entered to verify your phone number. Next up: writing up your bio and selecting an avatar; once this step has been taken care of, Vero will notify you whenever new messages arrive!
Vero stands out from Facebook and Twitter by showing posts in chronological order, giving users access to every piece of content posted since they last logged in. Artists have taken to Vero in droves.
Vero stands out from Instagram by not filtering content based on political ideology or sexual orientation; this has resulted in higher quality images and videos on its platform. Vero also has more lax censorship policies; its algorithms tolerate nude photos more readily.
Vero may possess all user content under its Terms of Service, however they will never sell it for profit or use it without your prior permission for advertising or promotional purposes.
Mariachips
Barcel, part of Grupo Bimbo, is an industry-leading snack producer in Mexico. Their flagship product, Takis Fuego rolled tortilla chip is an exciting innovation that blends the fiery heat from chile peppers with an irresistibly zesty lime twist – creating the ultimate combination! Takis are now enjoying enormous popularity in the US market; their Coppell, Texas facility produces most of the company’s products such as Watz, Vero Mariachips and Tostachos. This company operates another plant in Hermosillo, Sonora that produces potato and corn chips. This facility is an important contributor to Sonora’s economy with more than 100 direct jobs created and an additional 2,000 indirect ones sustained there, providing benefits to area farmers and ranchers.
Future goals of Barcel are to expand its operations in the United States with dedicated employees and cutting-edge technologies producing superior quality products.
Tostachos
Barcel USA has increased production at their Coppell, TX facility to meet rising consumer demand for potato and corn snacks, investing 115 million pesos into two cutting-edge production lines used for Takis, Vero, Watz and Mariachip production lines – helping guarantee that they contain only top-grade ingredients. These innovative production lines will also help enhance product quality.
Grupo Bimbo saw an opportunity in North America and set up bakery production in Fort Worth, TX before forming Bimbo Bakeries USA (now located in Horsham, PA). A similar vision for growth drove Barcel snacks into America – producing most of its Takis Fuego rolled tortilla chips at Coppell Plant in Texas.
